COVID-19 Response

Shelter Cove RV Campground and Deli takes the health and safety of our employees and our community seriously.

As we continue to provide essential goods to our guests and community, we have adopted many modifications to our business to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19 based upon recommendations and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA), and public officials at state and county levels.  As the COVID-19 situation continues to develop and evolve, the need for more modifications may occur based upon further guidance provided by the CDC, OSHA, and other public officials.

We have made the following modifications:

Bathrooms, Showers, and Laundry Facilities:  Our on-site bathrooms and showers normally available to campers are CLOSED except to employees of Shelter Cove Campground. There are on-site porta-potties available for public use or there are public restrooms available across the street from our business.  The nearest laundry facility is in Garberville.

Activities: Planned group gatherings hosted by Shelter Cove RV Campground and Deli are cancelled until further notice. All group gatherings hosted by outside groups are strongly discouraged. We do not allow gatherings in our public spaces.

Horseshoes and Cornhole: Campground guests may use campground-provided horseshoes upon request. These will be sanitized between parties. Campground guests are welcome to provide their own bags for cornhole as we are unable to properly sanitize our bags between use.
